1. Reaction Phase
Physical – Swelling, inflammation, muscle spasms, guarding, and discomfort
Emotional – Shock, Denial, Fear, Overwhelm, Dissonance
If you clear something about sore knee, then the next day there may be swelling, which is good because it’s the body’s reaction to healing the knee.
Regeneration phase
Physical – During this phase the body repairs and lays down new tissue, new connections, repairing cells, etc.
Emotional – Emotional conflict (ie. Processing Forgiveness)
Remodeling phase
Physical – Complete restoration and healthy functionality restored
Emotional – Learning (learned from conflict), acceptance, empathy, increased E.Q.
Example – Woman’s healing plateaued and then one night she woke up with intense pain and swelling in her tail bone. This surfaced so it could go through the Three Phases of Healing.
